Listed Grade II, being of architectural and historic interest Farm Cottage is believed to have been built in the early 17th Century. The construction is of timber frame with brick infill under a red tile roof. The sitting room and bedroom over were added in the 20th Century. Situation
Farm Cottage stands in an elevated position with beautiful views over the Gade Valley (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and the surrounding well-maintained agricultural land. Ashridge Golf Course is a short distance away.

The neighbouring towns of Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead are within a short driving distance and provide comprehensive amenities, including excellent shopping, recreational facilities and schooling for all ages, in particular Little Gaddesden Primary School, Beechwood Preparatory School and the renowned Collegiate Schools for Boys and Girls in Berkhamsted. Both towns have a mainline train station with services to London (Berkhamsted to London Euston approximately 33 minutes). The M1 and M25 provide good access to the motorway network and international airports.
